Menthu
(Mont)
   Ancient hawk-headed Egyptian war god worshipped at Hermonthis and Karnak, where he was lord of the sky. As a war god he was known as the Bull, this animal being sacred to him. The Menvis Bull of Ra— with whom he was sometimes associated as Menthu-Ra—was known as Menuis.
   He is probably the same as Munt.
